Let’s triple our tree planting targets.
To tackle climate change, one of the many things we urgently need to do is plant more trees.
The government have committed to plant 11 million trees before 2022. This is great.
However, (a) they are way behind schedule already1 and (b) the government’s own climate advisors say the target itself should be at least three times higher2.
We’re running out of time. We need to get planting. Tell the government you'd like to see a commitment, in law, to at least 33 million trees in the ground by 2022.
